Seasonal access

Park-specific staging and overnight parking: Use the signed Round Valley Regional Preserve Trailhead access in Round Valley Regional Preserve, Contra Costa County, California. Use the staging area named by the reservation: Black Diamond Mines, Mission Peak Stanford Avenue, Morgan Territory Road, Round Valley, or Sibley. Day-use hours do not independently authorize overnight parking. Stewartville and Morgan Territory backpack camps close each November through March. Mission Peak, Round Valley, and Sibley remain subject to heat, storm, fire, water-system, and park-hour closures.
Confirm the exact reservation and park alert. Round Valley's water system is currently out of service, and a reservation does not override a preserve closure.
