Trailhead
Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve, Alameda County, California
Sibley's main entrance provides the short official walk to the preserve's reservable group backpack camp beside the Round Top trail system.
The camp is about 0.2 mile from parking and holds up to 15 people; it remains a reservation-only backpack site even though the approach is short.
Seasonal access

Park-specific staging and overnight parking: Use the signed Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve Trailhead access in Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve, Alameda County, California. Use the staging area named by the reservation: Black Diamond Mines, Mission Peak Stanford Avenue, Morgan Territory Road, Round Valley, or Sibley. Day-use hours do not independently authorize overnight parking. Stewartville and Morgan Territory backpack camps close each November through March. Mission Peak, Round Valley, and Sibley remain subject to heat, storm, fire, water-system, and park-hour closures.
Confirm the exact reservation and park alert. Round Valley's water system is currently out of service, and a reservation does not override a preserve closure.
