Lake Sabrina Trailhead is the road-end entry for the Sabrina Basin network in the John Muir Wilderness. Kampilo follows the official Sabrina Basin and named lake branches to ten supported camp areas from Blue Lake through Hungry Packer Lake.
State Route 168 and Lake Sabrina Road climb west from Bishop to the trailhead. High-elevation weather, seasonal snow, road work, and limited parking can affect access, so current Forest Service conditions should be checked before departure.
